BJP is comfortably placed in Dadraul assembly constituency. In 2014 Lok Sabha general elections, the BJP candidate from Shahjahanpur parliamentary seat, Krishna Raj had had led over his nearest BSP rival Umed Singh Kashyap by a margin of 41971 votes in the Dadraul assembly segment.
